Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a prestigious healthcare organization in the UAE. You will provide expert pediatric orthopedic care to infants, children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team, delivering surgical and non-surgical treatment.

The ideal candidate holds a medical degree with orthopedic specialization, with fellowship in pediatric orthopedics preferred, and consultant-level UAE licensing.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognised specialist qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship/subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics is highly preferred.
• Consultant-level experience in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for Consultant-level UAE licensing with the relevant health authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
• Assess and treat congenital, developmental, traumatic, and neuromuscular orthopedic disorders in children.
• Perform appropriate pediatric orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Manage pediatric fractures, deformities, limb-length discrepancies, and sports-related injuries.
• Provide care for conditions including pediatric hip disorders, clubfoot, scoliosis, limb deformities, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with pediatricians, radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate treatment options clearly to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
