Qualifications

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
• Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by licensing authority.
• DHA Eligibility Letter or eligibility to obtain DHA specialist license.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric neurology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist neurological assessment for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Manage epilepsy and seizure disorders with individualized antiseizure plans.
• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop long‑term management plans for neurodevelopmental disorders and cerebral palsy.
• Interpret EEG findings and review neuroimaging as part of diagnostic pathways.
• Educate families about treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up requirements.
