Job summary

EDGE is based in Abu Dhabi and a leading advanced technology group focused on defence and high-reliability electronics. The Principal CAD Designer - Electronic will own the design, control, and release of complex PCB layouts and manufacturing documentation in a regulated engineering environment.

You will lead with Altium Designer and Windchill PLM, maintain PCB design standards, mentor junior designers, and ensure all deliverables are ready for manufacturing and compliant with quality

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronic or electrical engineering.
• 8–15 years of PCB CAD design experience in regulated industries.
• Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer and Windchill PLM.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-layer PCB layouts with Altium Designer considering SI, EMC/EMI, thermal and manufacturability.
• Generate manufacturing documentation: Gerber, ODB++, NC drills, drawings, BOMs.
• Manage PCB configurations and change control in Windchill PLM with full traceability.
• Review designs, mentor junior designers, and improve PCB design standards.
