The Chief CAD Designer - Mechanical for Halcon will lead the creation, control, and release of complex mechanical design documentation in a highly regulated environment.

You will provide technical leadership to the Drawing Office, ensure compliance with BS 8888, ISO standards, and Windchill PLM configuration management throughout the product

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in mechanical CAD design, detailing, and manufacturing documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Creo and SolidWorks, including part modelling, assemblies, sheet metal, and drawing modules.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, BS 8888, ISO GPS standards, and Windchill PDM/PLM configuration management.

Mansioni

• Develop complex 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Creo and SolidWorks.
• Generate manufacturing-ready documentation including sheet metal, machined parts, welded structures, assemblies, BOMs, DXFs, and CNC-ready files.
• Manage CAD data, document control, revision control, and Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN) within Windchill PLM.
• Provide technical oversight, drawing approval, mentoring, and continuous improvement of CAD standards, templates, and design best practices.
