Job summary

NMC seeks a Senior Patient Safety & Quality Officer to support the PSQ team in the day-to-day management of safety and quality initiatives across the organization.

The role involves monitoring safety events, conducting data analysis, and assisting in quality-improvement projects while aligning with DHA/MOH/MOHAP/DOH requirements and OSHMS policies. Collaboration with department heads is essential to promote a culture of safety and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Secretarial Course or its equivalent.
• Six months or more in healthcare set up.
• Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with proficiency in advanced Excel tools or statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day PSQ department activities.
• Maintains records, filing systems and logs.
• Coordinates meetings and takes minutes.
• Assists in implementing and following up PSQ improvement activities.
• Develops, validates and analyzes data for improvements and reporting.
• Assists in accreditation processes and KPI reporting.
• Ensures documentation governance and policy circulation.
• Supports OSHMS implementation and incident/risk reporting.
