Job summary

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is seeking an experienced Officer – Quality to lead the Quality and Patient Safety Program, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.

The role encompasses policy management, accreditation readiness, patient safety culture, performance monitoring, risk management, and driving system-wide quality improvement initiatives, with collaboration across all departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical, quality, or relevant health-related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare quality experience.
• Knowledge of quality and patient safety regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Policy Management: develop, implement, and monitor SKMCA policies and procedures.
• Accreditation & Certification: support readiness for external accreditation and certification programs (e.g., JCI, ACHS).
• Performance Monitoring: collect data, maintain KPI profiles, and ensure data quality for reporting.
• Patient Safety Culture: support patient safety framework and drive safety initiatives across departments.
• Quality Improvement Projects: coordinate system-wide performance improvement initiatives and educational activities.
• Risk Management: assist development and implementation of risk management framework and monitor outcomes.
• Strategic & Team Contribution: participate in strategic planning and interdepartmental liaison.
