Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced OSH Engineer to join our team, focusing on maintaining the Safety Management System, providing HSE advice to staff and contractors, and raising on-site health and safety standards.

The role requires a minimum of 12 years' experience and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; NEBOSH International Diploma and ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification are required; building projects in Abu Dhabi preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of career experience in health, safety and environment.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent and ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience on building projects in Abu Dhabi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety standards per KEO HSE MS and Client requirements.
• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
• Monitor and track all facility-related activities.
• Provide facilities management technical support to maintenance teams.
• Review and inspect work areas for potential hazards.
• Ensure staff wear PPE and follow safety policies on site.
• Conduct daily project inspections and suggest changes where needed.
• Investigate accidents and determine root causes; propose preventive actions.
• Develop and implement safety policies to reduce costs from incidents.
• Regulate safety policies with input from managers and workers.
