Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Orthopedic Spine Surgeon specialized in complex spine care in Dubai, UAE. The role targets fellowship-trained surgeons with expertise in degenerative, deformity, trauma, and revision procedures, including minimally invasive techniques, decompression, and fusion.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary spine care, manage adult and pediatric cases, and contribute to clinical governance, teaching, and research within a tertiary healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited Residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Spine Surgery.
• DHA Consultant license, eligibility letter, or ability to obtain Consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience with substantial involvement in spine surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate adult and pediatric patients with complex spinal conditions.
• Diagnose congenital, degenerative, traumatic, infectious, neoplastic and deformity-related spine conditions.
• Perform comprehensive clinical examinations including neurological and musculoskeletal assessment.
• Review imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI) and correlate findings with symptoms.
• Develop individualized management plans using conservative, interventional, and surgical approaches.
• Perform minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal fusion procedures.
• Coordinate postoperative rehabilitation and pain management.
• Collaborate with oncologists and neurosurgeons for complex cases.
• Maintain documentation of operative notes and follow-up plans.
