Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks a Senior Database Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise database development and data warehousing. You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable database solutions supporting BI, analytics, reporting, and operations.

The role emphasizes Oracle SQL/PLSQL expertise, Amazon Redshift with AWS data services, Python/PySpark automation, and data modeling.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on database development experience.
At least 5 years in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Strong experience with Amazon Redshift and AWS data services (S3, Glue, EMR).
Hands-on Python/PySpark for data engineering and automation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise database and data warehouse solutions.
Develop and optimize stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries.
Design data warehouse models and build ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and integrity.
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and workload management for high-volume data environments.
Automate database and data engineering processes using Python/PySpark.
Collaborate with BI teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Manage deployments across environments and conduct code reviews.
Participate in 24/7 production support for production-critical applications.
