Job summary

The role requires a DHA license, a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Optometry, and at least five years of practice. You will collaborate with ophthalmologists on surgical planning, educate patients, and contribute to audits and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Optometry required.
• DHA license required to practice in Dubai.
• Minimum of five years of optometry experience.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and JCIA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient examinations and tests to evaluate vision and eye health.
• Develop treatment plans for eye movement and binocular vision issues.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists for surgical planning of eye movement disorders.
• Prescribe appropriate vision corrections and refer for tests as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and contribute to service improvement.
