Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC is seeking a Senior Operational Risk Analyst to develop a center of excellence for ORM and drive implementation of the ORM framework across the organization. You will work with ORM champions to foster a culture of strong controls and proactive risk management.

The role requires 7 years in risk and banking, including experience with incidents, KRIs, and audits, and demands strong communication with senior management and training capabilities to propagate ORM concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree. CIA, CFE or operational risk certification preferred.
• Internal or external audit experience within a Big 4 firm or in an Operational Risk Management role for a large Financial Institution.
• Working knowledge of leading operational risk practices and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Senior Management.
• Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Knowledge around various banking processes and products.
• Knowledge of Islamic Banking’s products, processes, and organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of progressive Financial Services industry experience out of which at least 4 years in Risk management or Compliance role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a center of excellence for Operational Risk Management and implement the ORM Framework.
• Collaborate with ORM champions to foster a culture of strong controls.
• Support implementation of ORM policy and procedures across the group.
• Identify and assess key operational risk exposures and facilitate incident root cause analysis.
• Assist in management of issues, actions, and KRIs; support loss data updating.
• Provide ORM system training and awareness sessions across ADIB Group.
