Job summary

Brunel is seeking an Operations Superintendent for its onshore plants and wells in Dubai. You will lead safe, reliable operations, ensure environmental compliance, and optimize plant performance while adhering to strict procedures.

The role requires deep knowledge of gas plant operations, HSE standards, and experience with control systems and reporting. Strong English communication and leadership are essential for this critical position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or equivalent relevant technical qualifications.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operations of Plants and Wells within defined envelopes and maintain plant availability.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment standards in all Margham operations.
Verify permits and manage access to eVision; provide technical advice to operations staff.
Prepare operation reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly) and publish findings.
Lead review and revision of operating procedures; develop procedures for new operating modes.
Manage changes and projects with ALARP principles; train staff on new processes.
Lead shift Supervisors, set objectives and conduct routine appraisals.
Participate in risk management studies and safety reviews.
Prepare operational budget requests including utilities, chemicals and consumables.
