Job summary

AECOM in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned electromechanical engineer to supervise on-site electrical, LV, mechanical, control and instrumentation works, ensuring compliance with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, NFPA and IEC codes.

You will review drawings, witness FAT/SAT, coordinate with authorities, and hand over integrated systems including SCADA, CCTV, ITS devices, pumps and switchgear. This role requires 10+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of DEWA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of site supervision experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with LV systems, CCTV/ELV, and control systems including SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect on-site electromechanical works (electrical, mechanical, control, instrumentation).
• Review shop drawings, method statements, submittals, ITPs, and as-built drawings for EM components.
• Witness FAT/SAT for pumps, switchgear, control panels, SCADA, CCTV, ITS devices.
