Job summary

UnitedYou Ventures seeks a detail-oriented Proposal/Estimation Engineer to support bidding in the oil and gas sector. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documentation in line with client requirements and industry standards.

You will analyze tender documents, coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams, and develop competitive technical and commercial proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in estimation or proposals within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and industry pricing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for EPC, construction, or maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather input for estimates.
• Develop and submit competitive technical and commercial proposals.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, vendor quotes, and market rates.
• Liaise with clients for clarifications and ensure proposal compliance.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and contract negotiations as required.
• Support the transition of awarded projects to the execution team.
