Job summary

Alchemy Business Services Ltd. seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer for oil and gas operations. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 10+ years in maintenance, inspection and rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps and turbines.

You will supervise major overhauls, plan preventive maintenance, prepare RFQ packages and develop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment repairs used in offshore applications. Proficiency reading curves is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in Oil & Gas.
• Experience in maintenance, inspection and execution of rotating equipment.
• Experience supervising major overhauls and time-based inspections.
• Ability to read machinery curves and datasheets, calculate efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning, preparation, execution and review for rotating equipment.
• Oversee major overhauls, breakdown maintenance and retrofits.
• Develop life cycle costs and QA/QC standards for repairs.
• Prepare RFQ packages, vendor data sheets and spare part recommendations.
