Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced HSE Design Engineer to provide general stewardship of design projects, ensuring compliance with contract, code and legislation on HSE & Process Safety. You will manage HSE deliverables, identify requirements, and support lead engineers across offshore platforms or complex projects in the UAE.

The role emphasizes safety, risk assessment, and adherence to ADNOC and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recognised university or Engineering Institution.
• 13–15 years Technical Safety – HSE Design / Loss Prevention experience, preferably 20+ years overall.
• Hands-on experience in Oil & Gas Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED & Detailed Engineering Projects especially for major Offshore platform/Complex.

Responsibilities

• Project management and delivery of HSE design deliverables on time and within budget.
• Identify HSE requirements for projects and plan/execute related activities.
• Assist Lead Engineer with project management duties through the project duration.
• Prepare Project HSE Plans, Loss Prevention and Fire & Gas philosophy documents.
• Scope, coordinate and follow up HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PHSER & 3D Model reviews.
