Job summary

Ghobash Group is seeking an experienced HSE Engineering Leader to manage offshore and utility upgrade HSE activities in accordance with ADNOC Offshore standards. You will drive risk assessments, safety studies, and HSE deliverables across FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases, coordinating with engineering subcontractors, OEMs, and ADNOC teams.

The role requires strong leadership, 15+ years in Oil & Gas EPC environments, and NEBOSH/functional safety training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Safety / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical preferred).
• ADNOC Offshore approval or eligibility is mandatory.
• NEBOSH IGC / International Diploma (preferred).
• Functional Safety (SIL) and Hazard Study training required.
• Membership in a recognized professional HSE body (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Technical HSE engineering activities for offshore projects and utility upgrades, ensuring ADNOC Offshore HSE standards compliance.
• Develop and implement HSE plans, risk registers, and SIMOPS controls across brownfield execution.
• Oversee HSE during demolition, construction, commissioning, and pre-startup safety reviews with subcontractors and OEMs.
• Coordinate with ADNOC, EPC teams, and site personnel to align HSE objectives with project milestones.
• Lead incident investigations, CAPA implementation, and HSE performance reporting for audits.
