Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Engineering Manager Offshore (Gas Cap) based in Abu Dhabi to lead and manage all offshore engineering disciplines, ensuring deliverables meet project objectives and standards. You will provide technical leadership across Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.

With 20+ years in oil & gas and a strong FEED background, you will drive risk management, MOC, QA programs and staff development while aligning with UAE

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in management or equivalent.
• Minimum twenty years’ experience within the oil & gas sector, with broad experience in all phases of major projects and at least 10 years as Engineering Manager.
• Experience with contractors and suppliers worldwide, especially for large oil & gas facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore engineering disciplines: Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project objectives, specifications, and company standards.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve multidisciplinary engineering issues.
• Ensure activities are executed within approved schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Monitor engineering progress and identify risks affecting milestones.
