Job summary

A leading real estate company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Leasing Administrator to oversee and manage the leasing documentation and compliance for its retail portfolio. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in retail, with a focus on lease administration, and be proficient in Yardi Elevate. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for liaising with tenants and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in retail leasing.
  • At least 2 years in lease administration at a senior level.
  • Experience in large-scale retail or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify all retail lease documents for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal leasing policies and standards.
  • Liaise between tenants and internal departments for lease execution.
  • Maintain lease data in Yardi Elevate or other systems.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on lease status.
  • Support periodic audits of lease records.
  • Assist in coordinating internal approvals for documentation.

Job Purpose

To oversee and administer the day-to-day leasing documentation and compliance activities within Aldar Retail Management’s retail and mall portfolio. The role ensures that all lease agreements, tenant data, and related documentation are accurate, compliant, and aligned with internal policies and procedures. The position acts as a key liaison between tenants, legal, finance, and property management teams to ensure smooth leasing operations and adherence to critical timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Review and verify all retail lease documents and entries after lease administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all leasing activities and documentation comply with internal policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Liaise between tenants, the legal department, finance, and property management teams to facilitate lease execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease data within Yardi Elevate or other approved leasing systems.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and dashboards related to lease status, revenue tracking, and portfolio performance.
  • Support with periodic audits of lease records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist in the coordination of internal approvals, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
Qualifications & Experience
Education

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in retail, with at least 2 years in lease administration as a senior.

Background

Experience in reviewing and managing retail lease documents and data within large-scale retail or mixed-use developments.
