Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment seeks a Senior Officer - Health and Safety for Motiongate. You will drive HSE induction, coordinate training and policy compliance, and support documentation and audits across the site.

You’ll lead safety programs, liaise with external bodies, and assist the QHSE Manager in implementing laws, regulations, and best practices to keep Dubai’s premier entertainment venues safe.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in HSE.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Experience in Emergency and Medical Services.
Familiar with ISO certification processes.
Liaison with Dubai Municipality and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Prepare and facilitate HSE Induction for new employees, contractors and sub-contractors.
Schedule and coordinate compliance/training programs to meet requirements.
Conduct awareness training and help maintain instructional documents.
Coordinate sourcing and provisioning of HSE products/services (PR Raising).
Coordinate / assist Health and Safety committee meetings.
Collect and organize HSE docs; monitor change-management compliance.
Monitor with external agencies to ensure health and safety compliance.
Suggest robust HSE programs aligned with regulations and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the QHSE Manager / Dept. Head.

Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Officer - Health, Safety and Environment at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Prepare and facilitate HSE Induction for new employees, contractors, and sub-contractors.
Ensure policies and training meet federal health and safety requirements by scheduling and coordinating compliance and / or third-party training programs as required.
Conduct employee awareness training and contribute to the creation of and / or maintenance of instructional documents, such.
Coordinate and support the site in the sourcing and supply of HSE related products and services (PR Raising)
Coordinate / assist the Health and Safety committee meetings.
Gather, organize, coordinate, file all HSE related documentation and facilitate and monitor compliance to management of change procedure.
Coordinate / assist the Health and Safety committee meetings.

Monitor and coordinate with external agencies as needed in compliance with health & safety regulations
Suggest effective health & safety programs that comply with local, state and federal regulations by remaining abreast of changes in laws, regulations, best practices and industry trends.
Any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by the QHSE Manager / QHSE Department Head.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

Graduate of a bachelor’s degree / Diploma related HSE
Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role
Substantial experiences in handling responsibilities in different fields of Health, Safety, Environment including those related to Emergency and Medical Services.
Meeting with External ISO certification body as and when required
Meeting with Dubai Municipality Representative as and when required
Interacting with vendors, external consultants / experts on a regular basis to ensure system is continuously up – to date, and action is taken on any identified gaps.
