Job summary

Allocation Assist is seeking a Consultant Neuro-Ophthalmologist for a leading tertiary-care hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role emphasizes advanced diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neuro-ophthalmic disorders in adults and children.

The candidate will collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care, with emphasis on pre/postoperative assessment and ongoing management.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: MBBS/MD and ophthalmology specialty training.
• Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology required or equivalent.
• Tier 1 or recognized international specialist qualification.
• Experience: minimum 5 years as a consultant in Neuro-Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro-ophthalmic consultations and complex assessments.
• Manage optic nerve and visual pathway disorders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Perform and interpret OCT, visual field tests, and imaging.
• Provide patient-centered management plans and follow-up.
