Allocation Assist is assisting a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi to recruit a Consultant Neuro-Ophthalmologist. The role involves diagnosing and managing complex neuro-ophthalmic disorders in adults and children, with dual Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship highly preferred.

The successful candidate will work closely with neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, and endocrinology teams, participate in audits, research, and education, and ensure high standards of patient-centered care

Formación

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Completion of Ophthalmology residency.
• Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
• Dual subspecialty training in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and manage neuro-ophthalmic disorders affecting optic nerve and visual pathways.
• Evaluate and treat conditions including optic neuritis, papilledema, diplopia, visual field defects.
• Perform comprehensive neuro-ophthalmic examinations and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, visual fields, angiography).
• Interpret neuroimaging findings (MRI/CT) with ophthalmic and neurological conditions.
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients; collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, endocrinologists.
