Job summary

Salt is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our Abu Dhabi team and contribute to an enterprise workflow and integration platform. You will own specific modules and integrations within an established engineering team, delivering robust .NET/C# services and REST APIs, while aligning with governance, data modelling and reporting requirements.

The role emphasizes building scalable APIs, SAP integrations, and workflow-driven features, with exposure to Microsoft 365 integrations and BI tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong production experience with C# / .NET
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Web API
• Solid SQL Server capabilities
• Experience with REST API design and system-to-system integrations
• Expertise in enterprise workflow applications and configurable business rules
• Knowledge of RBAC, approvals and audit trails
• Data modelling focused on costs, budgets and project hierarchies
• Frontend development for responsive and accessible UI
• Ability to work effectively in an existing codebase and established engineering team

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance .NET/C# and ASP.NET Web API services
• Develop REST APIs for data extraction and versioned contracts
• Design and build cost management and project reporting functionality (budgets, manpower, CAPEX/OPEX)
• Develop SAP integrations for real-time financial and budget tracking
• Extend data models for opportunities, projects, and gate-based processes
• Build workflow and approval processes with configurable approval chains
• Develop decision, status and submission versioning functionality
• Implement configurable fields, validation rules, access controls and audit logging
• Support executive dashboards and reporting across project and portfolio data
• Integrate with Microsoft 365, Outlook and identity services
• Contribute to responsive/front-end features as needed
• Operate within existing CI/CD and release pipelines
