Job summary

The NDT Coordinator at ACC Group plans, coordinates, and monitors all Non-Destructive Testing activities on the project to ensure inspections are executed efficiently, reported accurately, and fully compliant with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality requirements.

The role involves close coordination with construction teams, NDT subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, and project management to control inspection backlogs, resolve non-conformances, and maintain complete and traceable

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Certified Level II in major NDT methods.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in NDE/NDT within Oil & Gas.
• At least 5 years post-certification (ASNT ACCP Level III or CSWIP/PCN Level II).
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and their industrial applicability.
• Sound understanding of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, AWS, ASTM.
• Conversant with Oil & Gas HSE requirements, work practices, and quality standards.
• Proven experience managing NDT subcontractors and supervising daily NDT operations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction and welding teams to ensure timely NDT inspections.
• Plan and schedule NDT activities in line with construction progress.
• Coordinate daily activities of NDT subcontractors to ensure availability of qualified personnel and equipment.
• Monitor NDT execution, reporting status, and approval cycles to avoid backlogs.
• Track NDT operator performance, repair rates, acceptance ratios, and rework trends.
• Maintain visibility of pending, completed, and approved NDT activities across all methods.
• Ensure NDT activities comply with ITPs and international codes and standards.
• Assist in investigation and resolution of NDT-related NCRs and quality issues.
• Support QA/QC teams during audits and client reviews.
• Maintain and update NDT trackers and databases for all methods.
• Provide regular status updates on NDT progress to project management.
• Liaise between NDT teams, subcontractors, construction, QA/QC, and project management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support timely closure of inspection activities to meet project schedules.
