Job summary

GSS Tech Group in Dubai seeks an experienced MongoDB Database Engineer to support enterprise-scale Digital Products and Digital Onboarding initiatives. You will administer MongoDB environments, optimize performance, and lead migrations across large-scale platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise with replica sets, sharding, backups, and upgrades, and collaboration across application and infrastructure teams in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Strong MongoDB DBA experience across large enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on with MongoDB architecture, replica sets, sharding, backup/restore.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and maintain MongoDB environments across enterprise platforms.
• Manage deployments, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimizations.
• Configure replica sets and sharded clusters for resilience and scalability.
• Perform backups, patches, and environment maintenance.
• Monitor performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams in Agile projects.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot DB issues across environments.
