Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Game Designer based in the United Arab Emirates for a major live mobile title.

You will shape characters, progression, events, combat systems, and other features from concept to data implementation, while balancing economy and player engagement across a globally distributed team. You will combine creative design with data analysis, working with art, engineering, and production to maintain a sustainable release cadence and high-quality content pipeline.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated game or content design experience, ideally in live, hero-driven mobile or F2P games.
• Strong understanding of game systems, balance, player motivation and F2P mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with Unity and internal game content tools.
• Analytical mindset using data, feedback and outcomes to refine designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of complex features and content from concepts through data implementation.
• Architect and implement gameplay systems for engaging player experiences.
• Analyze and refine game economy, loops and combat meta for balance.
• Use data, feedback and forecasting to evaluate designs and guide improvements.
• Create clear high-level design docs explaining purpose and mechanics.
• Present concepts to stakeholders using data and insights to influence decisions.
• Provide constructive peer feedback to raise design quality.
• Share advanced Unity knowledge and live-ops optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with production to define scope, requirements and delivery plans.
• Work with art and engineering to optimize content development and release cadence.
• Experiment with new approaches and iterate quickly.
• Contribute expertise around live operations, events, sales and battle passes.
