Job summary

DISCOVERED seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Abu Dhabi to join a highly technical team building production-grade AI systems used by governments and enterprises. You will own end-to-end ML work from data prep to deployment, focusing on NLP, LLMs and large-scale AI architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Machine Learning Engineering or a similar role.
• Solid experience across machine learning, deep learning and statistical modelling.
• Proven experience building and deploying models into production.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX.
• Experience with large datasets and production ML pipelines.
• Good understanding of NLP, LLMs or other large-scale AI systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers and modern MLOps practices.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, highly technical engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full ML lifecycle from data prep to deployment.
• Build scalable ML systems for production in high-impact environments.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Product teams to integrate models.
• Contribute to architecture, technical direction and engineering standards.
• Improve model performance, reliability and maintainability with security and scalability in mind.
