Job summary
Confidential Jobs in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced CAD / MicroStation Technician to support the Roads & Infrastructure design team. The role focuses on preparing, developing, and maintaining accurate drawings and technical documentation for roads, highways, and civil works using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
The ideal candidate has a diploma in civil engineering or drafting, 5+ years of CAD drafting experience for roads and infrastructure, and strong knowledge of CAD standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, CAD, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in CAD drafting for Roads & Infrastructure projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with MicroStation is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in roads, highways, infrastructure and civil consultancy projects.
- Experience preparing drawings, plans, profiles, sections and construction/IFC drawings.
- Strong understanding of drawings, scales, coordinates, levels, dimensions, layers, CAD standards.
- UAE / GCC project experience is highly preferred.
- Abu Dhabi infrastructure experience with local authority requirements is a plus.
