Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced MEP Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will inspect and monitor MEP works for major infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, standards and HSE.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and at least 7 years in construction inspection, with familiarity of stormwater pumping stations and SCADA systems. Strong reporting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Proficiency with MS Office and inspection reporting systems.
• Experience with QA/QC procedures, ITPs and method statements.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment (pumps, piping) and electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all MEP works related to stormwater pumping stations.
• Verify construction activities against drawings, specs, contract requirements and standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections and document observations, deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of pumps, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control systems.
• Review materials delivered and verify compliance with submittals.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
