Job summary

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, part of Ghobash Group, seeks a lead Mechanical MEP/HVAC engineer for industrial construction and energy projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee design, calculations, and field delivery, coordinating with TAQA and clients to meet scope and quality requirements.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience, TAQA project familiarity, and a strong grasp of ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8-12 years of relevant mechanical MEP/HVAC experience in industrial construction or energy utilities.
• TAQA project experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical MEP and HVAC engineering delivery across the project lifecycle, ensuring scope, quality and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate with TAQA representatives and stakeholders for clarifications, design reviews, inspections and approvals.
• Review HVAC calculations, duct layouts, chilled water piping and related deliverables.
