Job summary

Alpago Design & Build in Dubai is seeking Electrical and Mechanical Draftsmen for full-time, on-site roles. You will create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, with Revit knowledge a plus, collaborating with the engineering team to meet project specs.

Responsibilities include shop and as-built drawings for MEP, interpreting design docs, ensuring UAE code compliance, coordinating to prevent clashes, and maintaining thorough drawing documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in MEP drafting within the UAE.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC).
• Ability to interpret design specs and produce precise drawings.
• Experience with high-end luxury villas, penthouses, restaurants, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop and as-built drawings for MEP systems.
• Interpret design specifications, tender drawings, and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE codes and project specs.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers to avoid clashes and ensure design accuracy.
• Revise and update drawings based on changes and site conditions.
• Maintain organized drawing documentation and approvals.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material submittals when required.
