Job summary

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Mechanical QC Engineer for a major Abu Dhabi project. The role requires overseeing QC activities, ensuring compliance with mechanical works, and coordinating with third‑party inspectors on site.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in EP/EPC projects within O&G, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor credentials, and fluent English. Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills are essential for successful handover and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years of EP/ONG projects experience; ADNOC experience is an advantage.
• Full EPC experience in O&G projects.
• Very good command of English.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1 / ASNT L2 – PT, MT.
• Familiar with ADNOC specs, Shell DEP, site fabrication and erection activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing QC documentation including ITPs and review construction documents for mechanical works quality requirements.
• Monitor all phases from design to handover for mechanical works.
• Ensure implementation of method statements and ITPs with timely record generation.
• Manage inspection and testing of mechanical works and supervise QC inspectors.
• Witness and approve weld qualifications and WPS/PQR qualifications.
• Coordinate with third‑party testing/inspection for mechanical works.
• Perform statistical analysis and evaluation of test data.
• Maintain test/inspection records and assist in non-conformance resolution.
