Job summary

TalentOne is seeking a Senior Construction Lead to head Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Insulation and Fireproofing activities on an oil & gas EPC project in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise site teams, ensure safety, quality and schedule compliance while coordinating with engineering and clients.

You should have 20+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, piping and HVAC with international EPCs, strong knowledge of ASME/API, and proven leadership in subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• 20+ years mechanical and piping site experience with international oil & gas EPC companies and subcontractors.
• 20+ years HVAC experience for HVAC-focused roles.
• Middle East, CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and subcontractor management skills.
• Fluent English and good computer/MS Office skills.
• Lifting and scaffolding supervision training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams and subcontractors against 90-day and weekly schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, productivity, progress and workfront readiness.
• Review construction methods, drawings, procedures and subcontractor execution plans.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, ITPs, QCPs, quality standards and project requirements.
• Supervise mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, process piping and HVAC installation.
• Coordinate inspections, technical queries, NCRs, walkdowns and punch-list closure.
• Manage equipment preservation, pressure testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
