Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience supervising mechanical maintenance in a large industrial organization, preferably Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and availability.
• Inspect progress, final completion, and report to ensure timely and quality job execution.
• Provide technical support, prepare scope of work, contracts, cost reporting and participate in equipment repair negotiations.
• Update refurbished equipment database and history for equipment and accessories.
• Participate in daily/weekly safety toolbox talks to discuss safety and methods.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment or systems.
• Plan, schedule and execute shutdown and major overhaul maintenance activities.
