Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical inspection on large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems and installations.
• Ensure all materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specifications and relevant mechanical codes.
• Review and assess mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Witness and document the execution of mechanical tests.
• Identify deviations from standards or specifications and issue NCRs as necessary.
• Supervise the contractor's work to confirm compliance with safety protocols and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve site-related issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records and prepare detailed daily and weekly inspection reports, utilizing platforms such as Aconex and other paperless documentation systems.
• Support the final inspection and handover processes by participating in punch list activities and snagging inspections.
