Job summary

Star Services LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer specialized in static and rotating systems for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role covers bidding, design reviews, installation supervision, and commissioning across gas turbine, compressor, HVAC, and piping packages.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
MBA beneficial for management and project oversight.
PMP certification advantageous for project leadership.

Responsibilities

Prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, and conduct clarifications for gas turbine/generator projects.
Review designs, drawings, and supervise installation and commissioning activities.
Assess facility life and risks; manage mechanical piping and HVAC scope for projects.
Coordinate with other units and suppliers; ensure compliance with standards.
Prepare tender documents and arrange kick-off meetings for mechanical works.
