Job summary

Wood Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Static (Greenfield) to lead the design and integration of static equipment for a major UAE project. You will ensure safety and compliance with project specs, coordinating with EPC Contractors and IPMT to deliver high-quality mechanical static engineering outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years in oil and gas, strong knowledge of international codes and engineering software, and proven ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and extensive oil & gas experience.
• Proven knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in project environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for static mechanical design.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes and project standards.
• Coordinate with EPC contractor and IPMT for design integrity.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Support design optimization through option assessments.
