Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based in the United Arab Emirates. The role encompasses oversight of engineering tasks, management of construction and fabrication, and ensuring adherence to API and ASME standards within Oil & Gas projects.

Ideal candidates will bring 12+ years of experience, including at least 6 years in mechanical engineering for major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with offshore EPC lifecycles and commissioning/start-up exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 12+ years of experience, with at least 6 years in mechanical engineering for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction, including commissioning, operation and start-up experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering tasks and technical deliverables.
• Manage construction and fabrication activities on projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (API, ASME) and project requirements.

A Senior Mechanical Engineer will oversee engineering tasks, manage construction and fabrication, and require specialized knowledge of standards like API, ASME etc.

• Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Mechanical Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Strong expertise in EPC project lifecycles, offshore construction, in offshore projects with commissioning, operation and start up experience.
• Previous experience in ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
