Job summary

Careers International is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dubai to lead electromechanical system design from concept to production. You will collaborate with electrical software teams to integrate systems, oversee prototyping and testing, and support manufacturing with materials and QA guidance.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in electromechanical design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and experience with DFM/DFA, plus excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8-10 years in electromechanical product design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with simulation tools.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and DFA.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electromechanical systems from concept to production.
• Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with electrical software teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and iteration based on results.
• Support manufacturing with process guidance, materials selection, and QA.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ISO/ASTM/FDA; prepare submissions as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources; communicate risks.
