Job summary

Flip retail seeks a Mechanical Engineer to establish and optimize alloy-based production, guide lab operations, and lead engineers and technicians in manufacturing processes. You will evaluate test results, develop new uses for recognised products, and supervise project planning and budgets to meet cost and performance targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and about eight years of factory experience, with the ability to commute to Umm al-Quwain.

Qualifications

• 8 years factory experience preferred.
• Ability to commute to Umm al-Quwain.

Responsibilities

• Design and direct the processing and control of manufacturing procedures.
• Lead technical staff including technologists and engineers to meet product specs and efficiency targets.
• Evaluate material properties and testing results to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Develop new uses for existing products and optimize alloy-related processes.
• Oversee budgeting, proposals, and project planning for new initiatives.
