Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• No experience required; however, experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements into design specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate and modify mechanical engineering components or systems
• Analyze customer requirements to determine project specifications
• Develop detailed drawings of components which adhere to industry standards
• Create test protocols for new component designs
• Monitor the testing process to ensure accuracy
• Investigate the cause of mechanical system failures
• Troubleshoot existing systems to improve efficiency
• Work closely with research teams during product development
• Prepare reports on proposed changes or modifications to existing products or systems
