Job summary

Leading UAE healthcare organization seeks an experienced Consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine with UK CCT to join a specialist obstetrics and gynecology team. You will provide expert care for high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing management plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and participating in governance, teaching, and research activities.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with advanced training in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• Post-CCT experience in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
• Experience in tertiary-care or fetal medicine unit is preferred.
• Strong expertise in high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care for high-risk and complicated pregnancies.
• Conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments and develop management plans.
• Manage maternal medical conditions and pregnancy-related complications.
• Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasound and fetal assessments.
• Provide antenatal screening, fetal surveillance, and counselling.
• Diagnose and manage fetal abnormalities and complex fetal conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
• Provide counselling on fetal diagnosis, treatment options, and pregnancy management.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE regulations.
• Participate in governance, teaching, research, audit, and quality-improvement activities.
