Job summary
KBR - Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Materials & Corrosion Engineer to lead design activities during FEED and detailed engineering for offshore and onshore oil and gas projects. You will develop material selection philosophies, corrosion control strategies and specifications, and oversee interfaces with process, piping and mechanical teams.
You will ensure compliance with API, ISO, NACE and ASME standards, participate in site surveys and client coordination, and support robust M&C
Qualifications
- 8–10 years in materials & corrosion design for oil & gas.
- Experience in offshore and onshore facilities in the Middle East.
- Knowledge of ADNOC standards and project execution practices.
- Bachelor degree in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical Eng.
Responsibilities
- Lead materials & corrosion design during FEED and detailed engineering.
- Develop material selection philosophies and corrosion control strategies.
- Coordinate interfaces with process, piping and other disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, NACE, ASME codes.
- Support site visits, data collection and field verification.
- Manage discipline budgets and project schedules.
