Black Pearl is partnering with a leading engineering firm to recruit a dynamic Sustainability Strategy Lead to drive their ESG agenda and champion long-term environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the corporate sustainability strategy including decarbonization, climate adaptation, circular economy and more.
• Lead the full sustainability reporting cycle (data collection, materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, assurance) in line with GRI, CDP, SASB and UN SDG frameworks.
• Manage and improve ESG ratings, certifications and disclosures (MSCI ESG, Sustainalytics, EcoVadis, etc.).
• Oversee multi‑year cross‑functional initiatives (renewable energy integration, energy & water efficiency, sustainable procurement, waste reduction, employee engagement).
• Leverage digital ESG tracking and analytics tools to drive performance improvements.

Requirements

• 4 years of sustainability experience in utilities or energy/water sectors blending strategy‑consulting and corporate roles.
• Proven track record designing and implementing corporate sustainability and decarbonization strategies.
• Hands‑on expertise with end‑to‑end sustainability reporting and materiality assessments.
• Experience managing ESG ratings/certifications and enhancing disclosure quality.
• Strong program‑management skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business (Master's preferred).
