Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited seeks a Sr. Manager - Testing & Commissioning to lead the testing and commissioning of utility-scale solar plants in Abu Dhabi.

You will ensure compliance with IEC/IS MNRE standards, coordinate with design, procurement and project teams, and drive on-site execution. The role requires 15 years of hands-on experience in solar or renewable energy projects, a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics, and preferably a Master’s in Power Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
• 15 years of experience in testing, commissioning, and maintenance in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Hands-on experience with utility-scale solar power plants.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale solar projects.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and client specifications.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians for testing and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed testing and commissioning documentation.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project management teams to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party auditors for approval of commissioning tests.
