Emirates Islamic Bank in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Shariah Compliance professional to join the Shariah Control unit. You will conduct compliance monitoring, review policies and products, and support regulatory responses.
The role requires a degree in finance or Islamic finance and experience in risk, compliance or reporting. You will work under the Head of Shariah Compliance to help uphold governance and staff awareness.
The Shariah Control unit supports the Bank's adherence to applicable Shariah governance requirements, regulatory expectations, and resolutions issued by the Higher Shariah Authority (HSA) and Internal Shariah Supervision Committee (ISSC). Through structured monitoring, reviews, analysis and reporting, the unit helps identify potential Shariah non-compliance risks and follows up on corrective actions with relevant stakeholders. Under the guidance of the Head of Shariah Compliance, it reviews relevant policies, procedures, products and financial activities, coordinates specialist input, supports regulatory and audit requirements, and promotes staff awareness to strengthen Shariah compliance across the Bank.
