A leading logistics company in Dubai is seeking a Senior Manager - Partnerships to spearhead high-impact partnerships for a stablecoin payments solution. DP World is hiring a Senior Manager - Partnerships for its stablecoin-enabled payments solution, developed in collaboration with licensed third-party financial and technology partners to enable accessible, instant, and transparent cross-border payments.
The solution forms part of DP World’s broader vision to modernise global trade settlements by leveraging blockchain technology to reduce transaction costs, improve transparency, and enhance financial inclusion across emerging markets.
As a Senior Manager - Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying and structuring high-impact partnerships with financial service providers, including stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, exchanges, banks, and fintechs, to drive the expansion and success of cross-border payment solutions. You will lead the end-to-end partner lifecycle, from strategy creation and onboarding to integration and ongoing relationship management, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
This role will require you to collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, Client Coverage and Product and Strategy, to develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy. You will oversee system integrations with the Technology team, ensuring smooth onboarding of financial service providers, while also assisting Client Coverage and Operations teams in migrating clients to new functionalities introduced through partner integrations.
By developing standardised playbooks for partner integration, monitoring the evolving payments landscape, and proactively advising management on collaboration opportunities, you will ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation. Additionally, you will track integration progress, provide regular updates to management, and ensure timely resolution of partner queries to maintain strong relationships and satisfaction. Through strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and proactive collaboration, you will play a critical role in enhancing the platform’s capabilities, driving business growth, and delivering value to stakeholders across markets.
Identify and structure high‑impact partnership agreements with financial service providers, including stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, exchanges, banks, and other fintechs across corridors within which the solution is being introduced.
Lead and oversee the partner capability assessment across various dimensions (legal, technology, financial), in collaboration with other verticals.
Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross‑functional stakeholders (including Risk, Compliance, Operations, Client Coverage, Product and Strategy) on creation and execution of partner strategy.
Oversee system integrations with the Technology team for smooth onboarding of new financial service providers.
Assist the Client Coverage and Operations teams to migrate clients to new stablecoin and cross‑border functionalities owing to new partner integrations and / or changes in existing capabilities (if any).
Develop and maintain standardised playbooks for partner integration, ensuring best practices in testing, security, and documentation.
Act as primary point of contact for partner or vendor queries, ensuring timely issue resolution of queries / issues if any and continuous satisfaction.
Monitoring of the changing payments landscape and proactive advice to the management on collaboration opportunities that could be better suited for DP World.
Track integration progress and report the same in the form of a weekly update to the management.
Ensure regular cadences with partners during the onboarding and solution integration process to review open issues and blockers.
Assist the Risk and Compliance department based on their requirements pertaining to adherence to compliance, risk guidelines, etc. during the partner onboarding process and ensure adherence of partners to the risk and compliance guidelines during onboarding.
High‑Impact Partnerships Closed (Number of strategic partnerships signed across corridors within a defined period).
Partner Onboarding Time (Average time taken to move a partner from initial agreement to being fully onboarded and operational on the platform).
Partner Query Resolution (Average time taken to respond to and resolve partner queries or issues, measured against agreed SLAs).
Partnership Opportunity Identification (Number and quality of new partnership opportunities identified and presented for evaluation within a given period).
Tracking integration Progress with the Tech. team (Percentage of progress for partner technical and operational integrations based on milestones).
Vendor Compliance Adherence (Periodic checks on partners / vendors adhering to compliance, regulatory, and contractual requirements).
Partner Engagement Frequency (Regular cadences with partners through check‑ins, business reviews, or joint initiatives to maintain strong relationships).
Act as an ambassador for DP World when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree minimum (business, finance, technology preferred); advanced degree (MBA / Master’s) advantageous with prior experience of 8‑10+ years in cross‑border payments, digital solutions, blockchain, or related roles supply chain related roles.
Proven ability to manage partnership onboarding, platform migrations, and technical / business milestones.
Exceptional verbal, written, social and interpersonal skills, as well as expertise in building long‑term strategic relationships.
Clear understanding of the digital payments value chain and key capabilities required by players across the value chain to enable blockchain enabled payments.
Excellent presentation skills and decision‑making capabilities since potential partners will have to be benchmarked across key parameters such as cost, features, tech. & product capabilities, etc. and presented to the management.
Excellent pipeline management and ability to prioritise across an expansive set of initiatives to maximise business growth.
Thrives in ambiguity but is also capable of operating in a structured environment with clear risk management and compliance controls.
Ability to thrive in a multi‑tasking environment and can adjust priorities on‑the‑fly while still having the ability to focus on details.
