The Senior Manager New Business and Incubation at Al-Futtaim Automotive plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the automotive portfolio of the future. This role focuses on identifying new brands, partnerships, and business models, building incubation roadmaps, and executing priority initiatives in UAE and international markets. Operating in a fast-paced, start-up like environment, the role applies agile methodologies to accelerate experimentation and bring new solutions to market, aligning with Al-Futtaim Automotive’s strategy for growth and innovation

What you will do
  • Create and manage a funnel of future incubation ideas and new automotive brands across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads and Brand MDs to prioritize strategic projects and define business concepts.
  • Evaluate market potential and develop business cases for approval and execution.
  • Manage project budgets and implement dashboards to track progress.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and deliver valuable outcomes.
  • Supervise agile/scrum teams, guiding them through exploration, validation, and execution phases.
  • Gather domestic and international market insights to create compelling customer propositions

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, new business, or product/service development within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record in building disruptive products/services and taking them to market.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in business case development, due diligence, and project portfolio management.

The New Business team at Al-Futtaim Automotive is responsible for exploring new automotive brands, mobility initiatives, and innovative business ideas. The team works closely with internal strategic partners and external experts, applying agile methodologies to transform concepts into successful market offerings. This role reports directly to the GM New Business, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where experimentation and agility are key
