Job summary

Client of WhiteCrow Research seeks a senior interior design leader to oversee the design process, ensure high-quality outputs, and align packages with company guidelines and design intent.

You will manage consultants, lead design reviews, and coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless delivery across all project phases, while maintaining governance and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture with relevant postgraduate qualifications.
• 8–10 years of experience in a real estate design consultancy managing designs.
• Experience leading design teams across project phases: concept to implementation.
• Strong coordination with architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process to ensure all projects adhere to the highest quality of designs
• Review interior design packages submitted by the consultants
• make sure they align with company Design Guidelines
• protect the design intent and ensure that purchasers receive what they have purchased to ensure alignment with the design intent
• Review design submissions for technical and commercial compliance during the design stage and lead value engineering exercises to achieve target budgets to ensure that all design submissions comply with technical and commercial requirements
• Operate within the stipulated framework to maintain legal and ethical standards and ensure compliance with required Company s regulatory framework and corporate governance
• Lead and manage all aspects of the design process including designing procurement consultant appointment and project execution to ensure that all technical procedures meet approved corporate operational design objectives
• Review the preparation of project-specific design briefs that reflect project intent and objectives
• Manage consultants and ensure that risks are mitigated and senior management is informed of any changes
• Provide regular feedback on project status risks and approved feasibility to ensure that design goals are being met
• Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels including liaising with stakeholder partners and key business affiliates
• Stay updated with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in market dynamics and competitive landscape relevant to the organization
• Ensure compliance with policies procedures processes and controls of project design activities at all levels

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Interior Design
• Architecture
• Master s degree preferred
• International certification in Interior design
• LEED AP Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Associate Professional Certification preferred
• Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes and industry standards
• Working knowledge of interior design coordination with architectural structural mechanical and electrical disciplines interior construction and interiors specifications
• Min 8-10 years experience in a real estate design consultancy managing designs
• Experience managing design teams across various project phases concept development implementation
• Experience working with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure design integration within the project lifecycle
