Job summary

Synechron seeks a Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers in Abu Dhabi to lead offensive and blue-team security programs for banking clients. You will drive automated validation, threat intel SLAs, and security testing with cutting-edge tools.

The role requires advanced certifications (OSCP/OSCE, GIAC GPEN/GXPN, GMLE or similar) and enrolment in AI-security programs, with a focus on regulated environments. On-site in Abu Dhabi with global support from Synechron's FinLabs.

Qualifications

• OSCP or OSCE certification mandatory.
• GIAC GPEN or GXPN certification required.
• GIAC GMLE or equivalent AI-security cert.
• Enrolment in Anthropic Cyber Verification Program for authorised offensive use.
• CREST CCT desirable, especially in regulated banking environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Continuous Security Validation across cloud/infra deployments.
• Own 7-day threat intelligence SLA and incorporate new attack techniques into tests.
• Aggregate, deduplicate and SLA-manage findings via DefectDojo.
• Feed Power BI dashboard with open findings, MTTR, and gate pass rates.
• Hands-on with autonomous pentest tooling and AI red-teaming.
• Maintain clear 1LoD/2LoD boundaries during blue-team validation.

Certifications:

• OSCP or OSCE — mandatory
• GIAC GPEN or GXPN
• GIAC GMLE (Machine Learning Engineer) or an equivalent AI-security certification
• Enrolment in the Anthropic Cyber Verification Program for authorised offensive use of Opus 4.x
• CREST CCT — desirable, particularly in regulated banking environments
• Operate Continuous Security Validation — running AWS Security Agent (cloud/infra), (AI-specific) and (model supply-chain) on every significant deployment, mapped to a 2LoD-approved threat coverage matrix.
• Own the 7-day threat-intel SLA — ingesting MITRE ATLAS / OWASP LLM feeds via Jira automation and operationalizing new attack techniques into test suites within 7 days.
• Aggregate, deduplicate and SLA-manage all findings via DefectDojo → Attestation, enforcing severity-based MTTR remediation gates before re-deployment approval, and feeding the Power BI dashboard (Open Findings, MTTR, Pipeline Gate Pass Rate, Prompt Injection Block Rate). in offensive security, blue-team validation and continuous adversarial testing, with proven shift from periodic manual pentest to automated, continuous control validation.
• Hands-on with autonomous pentest tooling (AWS Security Agent, Horizon3 or equivalent), AI red-teaming (Garak, PyRIT, Claude Security / Opus 4.x, Codex) and OWASP LLM Top 10 + MITRE ATLAS test design.
• Clear understanding of the 1LoD/2LoD boundary — running control validation (blue team) against 2LoD-approved threat scenarios, while leaving independent unknown-scenario red teaming to 2LoD
